A group of friends and their families spend a summer day on the beach, but soon enough they start noticing some freaky things. A sandstorm, I mean sand tsunami, is coming their way and there's no way to escape. And it's not like they're the only ones either; all hell breaks loose as people start attacking one another in an obsessive frenzy to find safety for themselves and their loved ones. They quickly figure out that they are in an area where people are filming a movie which is turning out to be quite popular in this area. The friends spend most of their time there watching the film's shooting, but after the day's shoot is over, most of them head back home to India. But at the beach there's a few of them left behind. They have been stranded on the beach until this day. When the sun sets and it gets darker they begin to sense that something is wrong and then suddenly a huge sand tsunami strikes and leaves them in panic. The movie was released worldwide on 25 December 2012 in India, Nepal and China in Hindi, and in Hindi dubbed version in Nepal, India and Afghanistan. It was released in Iran, Pakistan (Urdu), Turkey (Turkish dubbing). The film was released in Bangladesh (Bengali subtitles) on 18 March 2013 by Goldmin Films International, all three dubbed versions were produced for this release. The film was released in Russia on 31 March 2014 with the Russian Audio Commentary, the European release was on 24 October 2014 by Goldmin Films International, all three dubbed versions were produced for this release. The film was released in Italy, Germany, Greece and Switzerland on 8 February 2015 by Goldmin Films International, all three dubbed versions were produced for this release. The film has been released in Austria by BV Entertainment on 25 February 2016. The film was released in Turkey (Turkish dubbing) on 18 August 2016. It was also released in China (Mandarin w/ English sub). The movie is also releasing internationally. The movie was a box office success. It collected 2crore on its first day, 4.5 crore on its second day and by the end of the weekend it grossed 45crore, being declared a blockbuster even before its release in overseas markets as well as dubbed versions.
